Care Instructions

Seedlings and Transplants should be opened upon arrival.  Make sure packing material and roots are moist.  Water if necessary and check regularly until planting which should be done as soon as possible after receiving trees.  They should not be kept in boxes any longer than a week.  Keep plants cool, moist, and out of the sun and wind until planting.

 

Balled and Burlaped trees- upon delivery remove balling twine, mulch in, and water as needed.  Planting should be as soon as possible after receiving trees.

 

Cut trees should be kept out of direct sun and wind.  Stand trees on butts and remove the baling twine.  Rotate stock regularly.  You can water if necessary;  Douglas fir trees will take water in through their needles.  It is very important to remove baler twine as soon as possible after arrival!
